Flemish Beauty is roundish, with thick clear yellow skin speckled with red when ripe. The creamy colored flesh becomes meltingly tender when ripe. The fruit ripens in mid-September to early October. It is also partially self-fertile, but will produce a better crop when cross-pollinated with a different variety.
